[fbshare]As we approach the upcoming Memorial Holiday weekend, I’d like to thank every member of our SDDC team for the remarkable work you are doing each and every day in support of the nation’s war fighters. I sincerely appreciate your efforts.
Memorial Day is a fitting day of observance to recognize the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of their country.
Please take a moment this weekend to remember them and their Families. Memorial Day also marks the beginning of the Army’s annual “101 Critical Days of Summer” Safety Campaign. Please be mindful of the many potential hazards that accompany warm weather activities. Be especially cautious on or near the water and while riding motorcycles or all terrain vehicles. Utilize appropriate flotation devices, swim with others, and avoid mixing alcohol when swimming or operating watercraft. Wear the appropriate personal protective gear while riding motorcycles or all terrain vehicles and as always, don’t drink and drive.
Again, thank you. SDDC has earned a tremendous reputation and that is entirely because of the work you do. Have an enjoyable and safe holiday weekend. You deserve it!
